Freakazoid Sans
Freakazoid Sans is a student project I created while attending Fort Lewis College's Advanced Typography course.
It's a cartoonish, freaky & borderline impossible-to-use typeface concept that seeks to draw energy from a whimsical, childish place– throwing readability and legibility out the window in favor of giving each character "character."

The Concept
The concept for Freakazoid Sans was very much a throwback for me, I've always enjoyed gross-out cartoons, and my sketch book was always filled with strange, grotesque, & silly characters or creatures.
Since we were given freedom to create any kind of display typeface we wanted, I was set on making something true to the roots of my youth, and the concept of Freakazoid Sans was born.
